Last updated: September 25, 2025

We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your personal information, what is deleted, what may be retained, how we verify your identity, and how long the process takes. This notice applies to data processed by RengleShop in connection with our online store and integrations with third parties (e.g., payment processors, marketing and analytics tools, and Meta platforms).

1) Who Can Request Deletion?

Any customer, site visitor, or user who has interacted with our store, created an account, placed an order, subscribed to marketing, contacted support, or used an integration connected to RengleShop may request deletion of personal data that we hold about them, subject to legal and operational requirements outlined below.

2) What Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with our store and services, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity & Contact: name, shipping/billing address, email, phone number.
  • Order & Transaction: order history, purchased items, amounts, currency, timestamps, fulfillment status.

Once we receive your request, we will send an acknowledgment and start the verification process described below.

4) Identity Verification

To protect your privacy, we must verify that you are the account holder or an authorized agent before deleting data. Verification methods may include email confirmation, requesting recent order details, or other reasonable steps. If you are an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization and a way to verify the consumer’s identity directly.

5) What We Delete vs. What We Retain

Upon successful verification, we will delete or de-identify personal information in our active systems to the extent required by law. However, some data may be retained when deletion is not feasible or is legally necessary. Common examples are listed below.

Category Deleted or De-identified May Be Retained (Reason)
Account profile & contact details Yes, from active systems Backups for limited time; audit logs for security
Marketing subscriptions Unsubscribed and removed Suppression lists to honor “do not contact”
Order history & invoices Personal identifiers minimized Kept as required by tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention laws
Payment details (via processors) We do not store full card data Processors (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal) may retain per their policies
Support communications Deleted or anonymized Limited retention for legal defense or compliance

6) Timelines

We aim to complete deletion requests within 7 business days after successful verification. In complex cases (e.g., multiple systems or third parties), we will keep you informed and complete the request as soon as reasonably possible within applicable legal timeframes.

7) Third Parties & Processors

We use reputable third-party service providers to operate our store (for example, Shopify, Shopify Payments, PayPal, Meta/Facebook, analytics and marketing partners, fulfillment partners, and email service providers). Where your data has been shared with these providers, we will forward your deletion request where applicable, or guide you on how to make a request directly with the relevant provider according to their policies.

8) Facebook/Meta Data Deletion

If you have interacted with our services through Facebook or Instagram (including via Meta Pixel or Conversions API), you can request deletion through this page or directly via Meta’s tools. For Meta-related deletion, please email us at support@rengleshop.com with the subject “Meta Data Deletion” and the email/phone you used on Meta. We will process your request and remove information from our systems where applicable, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure any connected Meta integrations are updated.

9) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and other data protection regulations. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object or restrict certain processing. We will honor applicable rights requests in accordance with the law and our verification procedures.

10) Contact
